Obituary
Tearra Barbara Campbell was born on January 26, 1997 at The University of Chicago Medical Center of Chicago, Illinois to Mr. Toney Campbell, Sr. and Ms. Lawanda Harrington.
Tearra attended Helen J. McCorkle Elementary School of Chicago, Illinois. She then went on to high school, graduating from Proviso West in Hillside, Illinois. After furthering her studies, Tearra was certified as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) and worked for Symphony of Chicago (West) on Chicago’s west side and later transferred to Symphony of Aria in Hillside, Illinois.
While working as a CNA, Tearra instantly came to realize the importance of her role in caring for the elderly and afflicted and used it in her own special way to serve God in her service to others. As Tearra grew to develop the empathy, patience and compassion that was necessary in the workforce, she found that those key virtues also enlightened her along her spiritual journey. Highly influenced by Spoken Word Artist, Eddie Felton (a.k.a. “Word Warrior”), Tearra then herself also became a Spoken Word Artist.
Tearra was truly a very spiritual young lady that would not hesitate to help those in need.
Tearra will forever be loved, cherished and missed by her parents, Mr. Toney Terrell Campbell, Sr. and Ms. Lawanda Lenett Harrington; her grandparents, Ms. Bessie Boykin, Mr. Jerry Harrington, Ms. Dorothy Campbell and Mr. Floyd Smith; ten siblings, Maurice Campbell, Toney Campbell, Jasmine Campbell, Tonnette Campbell, Malcolm Campbell, De’onte Harrington, Taffanisha Harrington, Toney Campbell, Jr., Annetta Campbell and Johnathan Campbell… and… a whole host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends.
