Rosie Lee (Smith) Lane

Celebration of life

Rosie Lee Lane was born December 30, 1928 in Parking, Arkansas to Louanna (Brown) Smith and Felix Smith.  She was the third child of eight children.

Rosie attended both elementary and high school in Parking, Arkansas.  She was joined in marriage to Robert Lane, Jr. who preceded her in death.

Rosie worked as a Laundress when she moved to Lorain, Ohio.  She was a person that loved to laugh and smile.  She was very family oriented and loved children.

Rosie accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.  She belonged to the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith. Rosie departed this life on November 21, 2018 at 7:30 p.m.  Rosie was called home to live in Heaven.

Rosie leaves to cherish her memory and celebrate her life, four sons, Robert (Desiree), Michael, Ricky (who preceded her in death) and Jerome; two daughters, Elizabeth (Donald) and Sheila; four brothers, three sisters and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and friends.
