Obituary
Parrish Desiree Peeples was born on March 1, 1967 in Chicago, Illinois to proud parents, George and Ruby Childs.
Parrish was educated in the Chicago Public Schools system graduating from Daniel Hale Williams Elementary School and went on to attend Paul Laurence Dunbar High School.
Parrish went on to work for London House Company in Illinois.
Parrish loved music, dancing, poetry and enjoyed computers.
Parrish was a very caring and giving person.
Parrish was preceeded in death by her father, George Childs; her daughter, Melody Stokes and grandson Darrion Stokes.
Parrish fell asleep in death on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 5:57 p.m.
Parrish’s love and fond memories will forever be cherished by, six (6) children, Cedric Stokes, Tyrone Stokes, Parrish Davis, Nicole Byrd, Nicholas Byrd and Ashley Davis; her mother, Ruby childs; her siblings, Heidi Childs, Tammika Arnold, Jamie Childs and Alfonso Childs and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins; and a special friend, Quovadis Lewis.
Parrish will truly be missed!
