Denise P. (Brumfield) Wilson

Denise (Brumfield) Wilson was born on December 5, 1962 in Chicago, Illinois to proud parents George Edward & Carol Jean (Long) Brumfield, Sr.

Denise accepted Christ at an early age and was educated in the Chicago Public Schools system attending William H. Ryder Elementary and Christian Fenger High School.

Denise known as “Miss Fiesty” enjoyed living life.  Her passion was hair so she decided to train at John Amico School of Hair Design.  Denise became one of the hottest cosmetologists in the city of Chicago.  She was known for getting your hair beautifully styled and would even do a touch of make-up to complete your look for the occasion.

Denise was ALWAYS ready when it came to shopping, The Diva was truly her from the hair to the clothes from the nails to the toes, that was Denise.

Denise’s family meant everything to her.  Joking, taking family trips and cooking - especially for the holidays.

Denise made her peaceful transition on Friday, July 8, 2022 at 2:36 p.m.

Denise is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. George Edward & Carol Jean (Long) Brumfield, Sr.

Denise’s love and memories will forever be cherished by her husband, Jackie Wilson; her one and only heartbeat daughter, Tierra Brumfield;  her two young kings, her grandsons, Khalil & K’hari; siblings, Mirandia, Lynette, Lisa and George Jr.; her protective uncle, Darrell Smith and a host of other family and friends.
